Message from PYS about Coronavirus

Dear Journey Christian Fellowship members and attendees.

Our prayers are with you and we miss your presence and fellowship. More events had occurred since we wrote to you last. Starting today, March 19, at 5pm, a "Shelter in Place” order will come into effect in SLO county. https://www.readyslo.org

Starting this Sunday, JCF will hold our Sunday Services online, as we did last Sunday. We will not offer an in-person worship service until the current recommendations and orders change. Please go to our webpage- www.journeyslo.org and look for the "Livestream Here" button as we desire to continue to worship God together.

In place of fear, we want to serve our community by not contributing to the spread of this disease, as this could lead to overcrowding hospitals and healthcare facilities, preventing people from receiving needed service and care. This is an act of "loving our neighbors" as we move all of our gatherings online. We are also postponing scheduled events until further notice. Please check our website often for we will post updates and keep things current.

Jesus said, “the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” Let us continue to worship at our individual homes in spirit and truth until this trying time passes.

We are still here for each other and if you are in need for any assistance, please let us know. You can email the church at info@journeyslo.org or call the church 805-543-6973 (leave a detailed message).

God is in control of everything and He will see us through. We love you and hope to see you soon.
